Overview

Entrusted with developing the brand design for Shipfast, an emerging delivery and logistics startup. The task involved creating a distinctive logo and comprehensive brand identity that would capture the essence of their rapid, efficient service in the competitive shipping industry.

Solution

The core of Shipfast's visual identity is a striking and memorable icon that encapsulates the company's mission and values:

A cube forms the base of the icon, symbolizing packages and the tangible aspect of logistics. This geometric shape also conveys stability and reliability, key attributes in the delivery industry.

At the center of the cube is a stylized 'S' shaped like a lightning bolt. This clever design element serves multiple purposes:

1. It represents the 'S' in Shipfast, reinforcing brand recognition.

2. The lightning bolt shape communicates speed and efficiency, emphasizing the company's commitment to rapid delivery.

3. Its position at the heart of the cube suggests that speed is central to all of Shipfast's operations.

The color palette further enhances the brand's identity and messaging:

- Shades of green evoke growth, freshness, and environmental consciousness, suggesting Shipfast's commitment to sustainable practices in logistics.

- Lemon hues introduce energy, optimism, and clarity, reinforcing the idea of swift, transparent service.

This vibrant color combination sets Shipfast apart from traditional logistics companies, positioning it as a modern, tech-savvy startup.

Design aesthetic

The overall design aesthetic gives off a contemporary, dynamic vibe that aligns perfectly with Shipfast's dual nature:

1. As a cutting-edge delivery service for end consumers

2. As a provider of logistics APIs for businesses seeking to integrate shipping functionalities.

The brand identity system likely extends these core elements across various touchpoints:

1. Mobile app and website interfaces

2. Delivery vehicle wraps and driver uniforms

3. Packaging and shipping labels

4. Business-to-business marketing materials for API services

5. Digital platforms for tracking and logistics management.
